Win a scholarship worth 1,000 Swiss francs to study in Switzerland! Students from North America have the opportunity to win 1,000 Swiss francs toward tuition for “How Switzerland got Rich,” a summer school program at University of Zurich.

Switzerland is a tiny landlocked country in the middle of Europe with a reputation for many things, including its wealth and expensiveness. In this summer school program, we will explore how this tiny country in the mountains acquired this reputation: from the humble beginning of craftsmen and guilds, to early industrializers and innovators; from class struggle to social partnership and welfare state; from chocolate and clockwork to finance and bank secret.
