Bonnie Halper is Editor-in-Chief of AlleyWatch, an online publication covering startups and entrepreneurship with a focus on New York and with a global readership (220+ countries.) She also writes and curates the StartupOneStop newsletter, which is currently being read in 50+ countries. Bonnie began her career in advertising and won a number of creative awards as a copywriter before moving on to the entertainment industry, where she worked for a number of prestigious entities, including Viacom (Showtime Networks), NBC (Saturday Night Live), Time Inc., Sony Music and Bertelsmann. Bonnie has been recognized as an industry specialist by The Wall Street Journal, CNN, The New York Times, Time Magazine, Fortune, Reuters, MarketWatch, San Jose Mercury News, and Newsday, among others, and also spoken at a number of industry events.

Fabian Pfortmüller is a Swiss entrepreneur in New York City. Fabian is co-founder of Holstee, a startup that creates products and experiences for an inspired life. Holstee’s designs have been shared over 120 million times online and are sold in 500+ stores worldwide. The company’s manifesto has been described by The Washington Post as the new “just do it.” Fabian loves NPR and the amazing quality of its stories. He co-chairs the board for NPR’s Generation Listen Initiative. In the past, Fabian started the global entrepreneurs community Sandbox. He is a frequent speaker at various organizations and universities around the world, including Harvard, Yale, and Columbia on the topic of entrepreneurship, value driven startups, Gen Y, and community building. He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in London and has been recognized as “Top 99 Under 33 in Foreign Policy.”
